On the 19th anniversary of Yichuangda, we did something that might seem ordinary but is truly significant – we set up a professional lab in Shenzhen. It’s more than just a room with equipment; it represents our renewed thinking about the adhesive label business and our lasting commitment to customers.
From "Making Good Products" to "Understanding How You Use Them"

Since its founding in 2006, Yichuangda has focused on adhesive labels. Over the past 19 years, we have served clients from all industries, provided label solutions for countless products, and earned the trust of many long-term customers.
"After all these years in the adhesive label business, I've come to realize that making good products isn't enough – we need to understand how our customers actually use them," says Wang Rui, Plant Manager of Yichuangda, talking about the original intention behind the lab.

He gave a very practical example: many times when customers have trouble applying labels, it's not because the adhesive is bad, but because the usage scenario doesn't match. For instance, applying labels in a low-temperature environment or in a damp warehouse can yield completely different results.
This realization drove us to set up the lab – not to pursue high-end technical specs, but to truly replicate customers' usage conditions, identify and resolve issues in advance, so that customers can use our products with confidence.

What Do We Test in the Lab?
The lab mainly simulates several common usage environments: high temperature and high humidity, low temperature and dry conditions, outdoor exposure, high-speed labeling, and more. Specifically, we can test how long adhesive stays tacky, how well it bonds to different surfaces, its UV resistance, and color consistency in printing.

As Plant Manager Wang puts it: "In short, we simulate as many scenarios as you can think of – and even those you haven't – to make sure that when the label reaches the user, it has 'high color fidelity, sticks on easily, stays on firmly, and never fails.'"
These tests may seem simple, but they directly affect the customer experience. A label that lifts in humid conditions or fails to stick in low temperatures not only hurts product appearance but can also damage brand image.

How Does the Lab Create Value for Customers?
The most immediate change after setting up the lab is: we no longer wait for customer feedback to spot problems – we find and fix them before products leave our factory.
"In the past, a customer might only notice edge curling or poor adhesion when applying the label. Now we can simulate that in the lab and optimize the adhesive formula or face material upfront," explains Plant Manager Wang. "This saves our customers testing time, reduces after-sales issues, and allows us to deliver faster with more consistent quality."

Behind this shift is an upgrade in quality management philosophy – from "reactive fixes" to "preventive action." The lab is like a mock exam: products take the test before they go out. Only after passing these tests do we have the confidence to say, "This product is good to go."

Beyond Manufacturing: Becoming a Solution Provider

What does having our own lab mean in the industry?
Plant Manager Wang believes: "It means we're not just a factory; we're a solution provider. In the past, we made decisions based on experience. Now, we can speak with data and real-world scenarios."
The lab not only ensures batch-to-batch consistency but also allows us to help customers with custom testing. For labels that need to perform in special environments, we can run tests to recommend the right face materials and processes.
"This is really about attitude," adds Wang. "We're willing to invest, and we're willing to understand our customers better."

"This lab is not just built for us – it's built for our customers," concludes Plant Manager Wang. "We welcome you to bring your real-world labeling challenges. Let's simulate them together and solve them together. Through this lab, we hope to understand you better and give you greater peace of mind."

The Lab: Built for Customers
For 19 years, Yichuangda has firmly believed that quality isn't something you inspect into a product – it's something you design into it. The launch of the lab is our way of putting that belief into practice and giving back to our customers for their long-term support.
Here, every test is run to recreate real usage conditions; every data point ensures product reliability; every simulation brings customers peace of mind.
Because we know that trust is hard to earn. It is built on every label that fits perfectly, and reflected in every cooperation that runs smoothly.
